Steven Spielberg Presents Animaniacs: Wakko's Wish, usually referred to as Wakko's Wish is a 1999 American direct-to-video animated tragicomedy film based on the Warner Bros. Its a race against time and its up to the three zany siblings to get there first. Unfortunately the rest of the town, including an evil king, also hear about the star and want to get to it first to have their own wishes come true. Actors Rob Paulsen,Jess Harnell,Tress MacNeille,Maurice LaMarche. The Warner Brothers (and the Warner Sister) go on a quest to find a fallen wishing star to help Dot with her illness. Not to mention the entire cast looking on in despair, including Brain, Plotz, and people like Mindy and Buttons, who didn't even know who they are in this story, who are just as horrified to see this. Yes, she gets better, but the image of Yakko cradling his dying sister and trying to keep his composure while telling the story, then breaking down in tears as she finally "dies" is burned into many a kid's brain. But the ultimate Tear Jerker of the movie is most definitely the final run for the star where Dot is hit by a cannonball, and the heartrending " NO!!" from her brothers as they see her crumpled, unconscious form half-buried in the snow.
